I’ve been doing agility for around 8 years now and have competed with my dog Kyle in all the popular organizations (UKI, USDAA, AKC, CPE, NADAC, ASCA). Kyle has obtained titles in all venues. Our most notable achievements are:

  • 2nd place 2022 Southwestern USDAA Regional Steeplechase
  • 3rd place UKI Stakes Final West Coast Open 2022
  • 2nd place UKI Stakes Final West Coast Open 2023
  • Cynosport 2022 Finalist
  • 2nd place The Kraken Cup AKC ISC December 2023
  • 1st place Combined Steeplechase UKI Classic in Arizona, March 2023
  • 3rd place Pentathlon UKI Classic in Arizona, March 2023

My approach to training is using only positive methods. I focus on teaching dogs to offer behaviors so they can become confident and independent when doing Agility.

Most of my knowledge comes from other trainers that have competed nationally and been on podium spots many times: Liz Randall, Daisy Peel, Rachel Downs, Monica Bush, Lori Michaels. I’ve also attended agility seminars with instructors from overseas.

In 2020, I started a dog training apprenticeship with my mentor Liz Randall, CPDT-KA, and I am currently working on getting my dog trainer certification.

In 2021, I co-founded with a group of friends a new dog agility club in San Diego to help promote agility using only positive methods.
